Role Summary

The incumbent is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the Group's Business Continuity Plan. The role involves identifying potential risks, developing strategies to mitigate those risks, and implementing plans to ensure Aptia Group can continue to operate in the event of an unexpected disruption. Actively involve in developing strategies to enable the Management to quickly and effectively respond to any type of disruption or disaster.

The incumbent is also responsible for carrying out testing and assessments to ensure the prevalent plan is effective and up to date. The incumbent should also prepare the plan to suit the requirements of group companies situated UK, US and India

Role & Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining business continuity strategies, plans and procedures for the group and individual entities
- Carrying out risk assessments and identifying potential threats to the business
- Assisting with the development of crisis management plans
- Developing, implementing and maintaining the organizations business continuity awareness program
- Conducting training sessions and drills to test business continuity plans
- Providing advice and guidance to management on best practice and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring that plans are reviewed and updated regularly
- Maintaining records and documentation as evidence of compliance
- Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and regulations
- Should train and guide identified SPOCs in First Line of defence in running the BCP strategy for group entities.

Experience & Qualification

- Strong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance
- Experience in developing and implementing business continuity plans
- Experience in risk assessment and management
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- An understanding of IT systems and data security
- Prior experience in developing, implementing business continuity plan in a Green field environment.
- Expertise in ISO 22301 both as a Lead Auditor and Implementor
- 12 to 15 years of experience working in business continuity, disaster recovery and risk management of which at least 3 years in a Senior/ Group role, preferably in a multi-national corporate or shared services environment.
- Experience in a cross-continental environment and ability to conduct risk assessments are desirable
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Additional qualifications, like Lead certification in ISO 22301: 2019 Business Continuity Planning
