To drive the development, pricing, and regulatory compliance of life insurance products and riders by leveraging actuarial expertise and market insights. The role ensures accurate and competitive pricing, manages product filings with IRDAI and regional offices, and supports cross-functional collaboration for product implementation. It also involves monitoring product performance, responding to audit and regulatory queries, and maintaining adherence to evolving product regulations to support the company's strategic objectives.
Managerial and functional responsibilities
- Product Pricing
- To develop/modify products based on new product ideas or request from products team. Propose new products / riders / product modification.
- Product Filing with IRDAI and Regional Office. Handling queries received from IRDAI and Regional office.
- Co-ordination with other teams for product management related activities like providing sign off on Benefit Illustrations etc, Life department documents etc.
- Measuring the success of the product by proper feedback mechanism
- Reviewing the User Acceptance Tests results and providing sign offs
- Respond to Audit queries
- Good understanding of product regulations.
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years of core pricing experience in Indian life insurance.
