This role requires strong follow-through on pre-order development , remote factory coordination, and seamless communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities Product Development & Pre-Order Management Track and manage pre-order development timelines from concept to sampling
Coordinate with design, sourcing, and production teams
Ensure timely development of samples as per buyer requirements
Client Servicing & Coordination Act as a bridge between Director, clients, and internal teams
Support communication with international buyers/ buying agencies
Maintain updates on all ongoing developments and share regular status reports
Factory & Vendor Coordination Work with factory teams
Follow up on sampling, approvals, and production readiness
Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate product data, specifications, and costing sheets
Ensure alignment with buyer requirements and quality standards
Travel & Buyer Meetings Travel for buyer meetings, showroom reviews, and factory visits as required
Key Requirements Experience in Home Textiles merchandising (bed, table, kitchen, table linen etc.)
Exposure to US and/or UK markets
Strong experience in pre-order / sampling stage management
Ability to coordinate with factories remotely
Good understanding of product development lifecycle
P rior experience working with export houses is a plus
