Bühler Milling Machinery:
Operate and monitor Bühler equipment (e.g., roller mills, plansifters, purifiers, and hammer mills) to achieve optimal particle size, separation, and product yield.
Lark Milling Machinery:
Manage the operation of feed mill equipment (e.g., pellet mills, crumblers, counter-flow coolers, and mixers) by adjusting steam valves, feeder speeds, and roller gaps.
Process Parameters:
Regularly monitor motor amperage, bearing temperatures, steam pressure, and moisture content to maintain consistent product quality.
Automation & Control:
Utilize modern control systems (such as Bühler's Data Net) to adjust parameters, monitor flow rates, and initiate trial or production runs.
2. Preventive Maintenance (PM)
Routine Inspections:
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly PM routines according to manufacturer guidelines (e.g., cleaning boots of elevators, checking belt alignments, and inspecting sifter sieves).
Wear & Tear Tracking:
Monitor the wear patterns of dies, rolls, and hammer mill screens. Change and reverse dies/roll shells to ensure uniform wear.
Lubrication:
Perform scheduled greasing of bearings, gearboxes, and drive chains across all equipment.
Calibration:
Ensure magnets are cleared daily and sensors are calibrated for accurate flow.
3. Troubleshooting & Repairs
Downtime Minimization:
Swiftly diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimize unplanned shutdowns.
Overhauls:
Assist or lead the replacement of cutting rollers, conveyor belts, and hammer mill components.
Spare Parts Management:
Identify critical spare parts, maintain adequate inventory, and manage replacements to avoid production losses.
4. Safety, Hygiene, & Compliance
Food Safety:
Ensure all milling environments comply with hygiene and food safety standards.
EHS Guidelines:
Enforce strict environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance.
5S /
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free mill environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Plant OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness):
Meet or exceed 100% of planned operating availability.
Yield & Quality:
Minimize product waste and maintain exact particle sizes and speck-free output.
Downtime:
Keep unplanned machinery breakdowns to ( Maintenance Compliance: 100% completion of scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) checklist.
