Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on  Plant Head – Production  to lead our  precast manufacturing plant  in  Coimbatore .

This role is for a strong leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, guiding teams, improving processes, and delivering high-quality products safely and on time. You will play a key role in shaping the plant's performance, culture, and growth.

If you have deep knowledge of precast operations and enjoy leading from the front, this role offers long-term stability, responsibility, and impact.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily production to meet targets and delivery timelines.
Prepare production schedules and optimise the use of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Ensure high standards of  quality, safety, and compliance  across all operations.
Implement and monitor  HSE practices  to maintain a safe working environment.
Control production costs and improve efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate with logistics, sales, and site teams for smooth dispatch and execution.
Lead, train, and motivate plant teams and department heads.
Manage plant maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
Support  new plant setup (Greenfield projects)  and expansion activities.
Drive continuous improvement and long-term production strategies.

Qualifications

BE /

B.Tech in  Civil Engineering  or a related discipline.
14+ to Max 20 years of experience in  precast manufacturing or the construction industry.
Strong understanding of plant operations, production planning, and scheduling.

Experience with tools like  MS Project  or similar planning software.
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a  2-shift operation.
Knowledge of  Tamil  is  mandatory .
