Job Summary:
We are looking for an NPD Project Manager to lead end-to-end new product development and innovation initiatives across skincare, personal care, and beauty categories. The role will be responsible for driving product launches from concept to commercialization, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, vendor partnerships, packaging development, regulatory compliance, and ensuring successful project execution in a fast-paced D2C/FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end NPD projects from concept, formulation, packaging development, testing, and commercialization.
• Drive innovation and identify new product opportunities through market research, consumer insights, and competitive benchmarking.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and stage-gate processes.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Packaging, Regulatory, Marketing, and Operations teams.
• Manage packaging development, artwork approvals, and labeling compliance.
• Coordinate raw material sourcing, vendor onboarding, and supplier performance management.
• Ensure timely availability of packaging materials and raw materials to support product launches.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans to avoid delays.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality and brand standards.
• Track project budgets, timelines, and launch readiness.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation, SOPs, and launch trackers.
Experience and Qualifications:
• 5–8 years of experience in New Product Development, Product Innovation, or Project Management within Beauty, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Skincare, Wellness, or FMCG industries.
• Experience managing product launches from ideation to commercialization.
Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and stage-gate processes.
• Experience in vendor management, packaging development, procurement coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Exposure to D2C beauty and personal care brands is highly preferred.
