Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily production activities and ensure adherence to schedules.
Maintain and update production plans, work orders, and progress reports.
Communicate with internal suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Assist in resource allocation and monitor inventory levels.
Track production metrics and prepare reports for management.
Support compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Resolve operational issues promptly to avoid delays.
Daily monitoring man efficiency as per agreed norms.
Monitoring and maintain shop floor discipline, safety and compliances as per company guidelines.
Liaise between production, quality control, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
Experience and required competencies:
Planning, Programming and Production Control Techniques.
Knowledge of 'key' process indicators (Productivity, Quality and Safety).
People management.
Concepts and application of methods related to Lean Manufacturing
Knowledge and application of Problem-Solving Methodologies
Experience in Production Management routines.
Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 14000 standards.
Written Communication,
Verbal Communication.
Analytical Aptitude
Numerical Aptitude.
Intermediary English
Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ B.E – Mechanical Engineering
