Basic Functions:
Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the United States' largest recycler and largest
manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking qualified applicants for positions of entry-level
detailer or detailer with some experience positions at our business unit located in Noida. Duties of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following:
Reading and understanding transmission line drawings and project specifications
Assist in creating 3D models and detail drawings using Autodesk Inventor
Revise and update drawings based on red lines or feedback from engineers and senior detailers.
Ensure BOMs are accurate and align with procurement and fabrication needs
Learning and ensuring all work comply with utility pole industry standards, safety codes, and internal detailing guidelines
Meeting deadlines while ensuring quality work
Collaborating and communicating effectively with local and international teammates
Managing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Working overtime when needed to meet project goals
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to
demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and
housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Able to communicate in English
Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Draughtsman certificate, Polytechnic Diploma, Senior Secondary Education, or equivalent
One or more years school or work experience with Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, Solid Works, Solid Edge, Creo, NX, or Catia
Preferred Qualifications:
Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering Diploma
One or more years' work experience with regular Autodesk Inventor use
Competency using Bluestar Project Lifecycle Management (PLM), Fusion Manage, or similar software
