Purpose & Role of the Position
Ensuring achievement of daily/monthly production targets as per business plan
Driving OEE, productivity, yield, and process efficiency improvements
Optimizing manpower utilization and shop-floor discipline
Cost Control.
Coordinating with Quality, SCM, and Maintenance for smooth operations
Monitoring rejection, rework, and process losses
Driving TQM/Lean/Kaizen initiatives for operational excellence
Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards
Managing production planning and dispatch alignment
Developing production team capability and succession planning
Fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities
Educational Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical)
Work Experience
12-14 Yrs
Knowledge & Skills Required
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, process optimization, and shop-floor management.
Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Understanding of quality systems, safety standards, statutory compliance, and operational risk management within manufacturing environments.
Ability to drive productivity, OEE improvement, cost optimization, downtime reduction, and efficient resource utilization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify process gaps and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Experience in manpower planning, team handling, capability building, and driving performance across shop-floor teams.
Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and execution capabilities.
SAP (PP Module) , Engineering Drawing
Preferably Worked In
