Role Description This is a full-time role based in Ambernath near Mumbai. The Research and Development Scientist will design, plan, and execute experiments to develop new products and improve existing pharmaceutical intermediates, fine chemicals, and specialty chemicals.

Qualifications

- PhD in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of industrial R&D experience in pharmaceutical intermediates, fine chemicals, specialty chemicals, or related industries.
- Strong expertise in organic synthesis, process development, and process optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in process scale-up, technology transfer, and commercialization of chemical products.
- Strong foundation in experimental design, data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of GMP, quality systems, process safety, and regulatory documentation requirements.
- Ability to identify opportunities for cost reduction, yield improvement, and manufacturing efficiency enhancement.
- Experience in literature review, patent analysis, and technical report writing.
- Prior experience supporting manufacturing operations and resolving production-related technical challenges is highly desirable.
