Independent Contractor Desk- Researcher or Singapore

Position: Independent Contractor Desk-top Researcher located or Singapore
Join the exising Researcher Team in India if you're experienced in science or technology (Master or PhD):
physics, AI / ML,   chemistry, materials science, sustainability etc.
Additional experience of  market analysis or business opportunity analysis and / or knowledge of Mandarin would be beneficial.

Nine Sigma Europe is seeking researchers to support the delivery of technology search, technology assessment, competitive intelligence and innovation projects.
You will:

• work with a Nine Sigma Program Manager to design, do, and report desk-top research projects

• use a variety of methods to collect, analyse and organise information

• present research to others, in a written report or as an oral presentation

Responsibilities

• Design and manage desk-top research projects

• Develop key search words to generate the best results

• Use a range of desk-top research techniques to gather relevant information, from:
o  electronic databases (research literature, patents etc).
o  company websites, press releases, conferences, industry publications and other sources

• Analyse and evaluate the research to identify key information and trends

• Collate, prepare, present the results, as a verbal presentation and in a written report

• Provide regular updates to the relevant program manager at Nine Sigma via online meetings

Qualifications

· a masters degree in a relevant science, engineering

· academic or industry experience

· chemistry, material sciences, sustainability, energy management

· excellent written and spoken English

This is a contract role, researchers shall have the status of an "independent contractor" and will be paid hourly.
