I am Anas Rahman Junaid, Founder and Chief Researcher of Hurun India.

I am hiring a Research Associate, based in Mumbai, with 2 to 5 years of experience.
This is the job where the work actually starts.
We track over 3,000 wealth creators every year. Founders, families, first-generation entrepreneurs. Our credibility is built one data point at a time, and the Research Associate is the person who gets each one right.
What I am looking for:
→ Sharp with numbers. Comfortable with financial statements, market caps, shareholding patterns, and the gap between what a company reports and what is actually true.
→ Genuinely curious about Indian business. You should want to know how wealth is made in this country, not just record it.
→ Relentless on accuracy. A wrong number does not just embarrass us. It breaks the one thing we have spent thirteen years building.
→ Able to work from first principles. Public filings, primary sources, your own judgement. Not a copy-paste from someone else's list.
→ A writer. Research that cannot be communicated clearly is half-finished.
One honest note:
If you are looking to build a career in equity research, this is not the job for you. If you are a CFA, CA, or ACCA aspirant using this as a stepping stone, please do not apply — this is not your kind of work. This is wealth research, not stock analysis, and the people who thrive here are the ones who want exactly that.
