The Role

What You'll Do
Design, solve, and review advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth
Apply your expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related disciplines to create complex, meaningful problem sets
Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, rigor, and clarity
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI reasoning in environmental science
Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific integrity and precision
Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
Holds a Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Ecology, Earth Systems, or a closely related field
Strong hands-on experience with Python or R for research, data analysis, or modelling
Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, sustainability science, or environmental data analysis
Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex science with clarity and precision
Naturally detail-oriented, rigorous, and self-motivated when working independently
Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
Familiarity with large environmental datasets (e.g., ERA5, CMIP6, remote sensing data)
Background in science communication, academic writing, or peer review
Experience working across interdisciplinary teams or in research collaboration settings
