The Role
What if your years of biology training could directly shape how AI reasons through the most complex problems in genetics, biotechnology, and bioinformatics We're looking for Masters- and PhD-level biology experts to help build and challenge cutting-edge AI models — ensuring they think rigorously, reason accurately, and reflect the depth of real scientific expertise.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed around your schedule. No AI background needed — just deep domain knowledge and a sharp scientific mind.

What You'll Do
Develop, solve, and critically evaluate advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex, nuanced problem statements
Assess AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, depth, and rigor
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen model performance
Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of scientific clarity and precision
Who You Are
Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field — Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, or equivalent
Strong working knowledge in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis
Exceptionally clear written communicator — you can make complex science accessible without sacrificing accuracy
Detail-oriented and self-directed, able to produce high-quality work independently
Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows
Familiarity with bioinformatics pipelines or computational biology tools
Academic or industry research experience with published or applied outcomes
Background in designing or reviewing scientific assessments or curriculum
