About the Role
We are seeking a  Neuroscience Researcher (Freelancer)  to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on neuroscience, cognitive science, neurobiology, brain function, neural systems, behavioral research, and scientific reasoning.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated outputs related to neuroscience research, experimental design, neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, cognitive processes, neurological disorders, data interpretation, and scientific literature analysis. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for scientific research, biomedical reasoning, and advanced knowledge evaluation.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in neuroscience research, cognitive neuroscience, neurobiology, behavioral neuroscience, computational neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, or related scientific disciplines.

Responsibilities
Create deliverables addressing common neuroscience research and scientific analysis scenarios
Annotate and evaluate AI-generated research summaries, scientific explanations, experimental designs, literature reviews, and analytical outputs
Assess AI outputs for scientific accuracy, methodological rigor, logical reasoning, and evidence-based conclusions
Review AI-generated content involving neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, cognitive processes, neural circuits, brain imaging, behavioral studies, and neurological disorders
Identify scientific inaccuracies, methodological flaws, unsupported conclusions, data interpretation errors, and research gaps in AI-generated outputs
Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in neuroscience and scientific reasoning workflows
Support projects involving experimental research, cognitive science, neural systems analysis, clinical neuroscience, and scientific literature evaluation
Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards
Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on neuroscience, biomedical research, and scientific analysis

Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Neurobiology, Biomedical Sciences, Psychology (with neuroscience specialization), Computational Neuroscience, or a related field
3+ years of experience in neuroscience research, laboratory research, academic research, clinical neuroscience, or related scientific domains
Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, cognitive neuroscience, neural signaling, brain function, and research methodologies
Experience conducting scientific research, experimental design, data analysis, literature review, and scientific writing
Familiarity with neuroscience research methods including EEG, fMRI, MEG, electrophysiology, behavioral experiments, neuroimaging, or computational modeling
Ability to critically evaluate scientific evidence, research findings, and experimental methodologies
Strong analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Experience interpreting peer-reviewed scientific literature and research publications
Excellent written English communication skills
Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, clarity, and methodological soundness
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Computational Neuroscience, or a related field
Published research in peer-reviewed journals or significant contributions to neuroscience research projects

Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, MATLAB, SPSS, or similar research platforms
Familiarity with computational neuroscience, machine learning applications in neuroscience, or neuroinformatics
Experience in clinical research, translational neuroscience, neuropharmacology, neuropsychology, or brain-computer interface research
Knowledge of research ethics, IRB processes, clinical trial methodologies, and scientific reporting standards
Exposure to AI-assisted scientific research, biomedical data analysis, or advanced research evaluation systems is advantageous
