Our client, a world-renowned Italian Luxury House synonymous with elegance, craftsmanship, and lifestyle, is expanding its footprint in India. We have been commissioned to identify two exceptional Deputy Store Managers to spearhead the upcoming flagship openings in Mumbai.
This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic retail leader to join a brand that defines sartorial excellence and to be a key player in its Indian market entry.
The Role:
Supporting the Store Manager, the Deputy Store Manager will be responsible for the daily operational success of the boutique. You will lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring the highest standards of Italian hospitality and service, while driving the team to reach ambitious commercial milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily boutique operations, ensuring seamless processes in inventory management, back-office, and after-sales service.
Performance Leadership: Monitor and analyze Luxury KPIs (Conversion, UPT, AUR, and Client Retention). Implement strategic action plans to drive growth and profitability.
Team Development: Mentor and manage a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for training, motivating, and ensuring the team embodies the Brand Ambassador spirit.
Clienteling & CRM: Drive the local clienteling strategy, building long-term relationships with Top Clients and VVIPs in the Mumbai/Bangalore social circles.
Brand Standards: Ensure the boutique’s Visual Merchandising and atmosphere are consistently aligned with the brand’s global Italian identity.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in Luxury Retail, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role (Assistant/Deputy Manager) within a premium or luxury environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Management, or a related field.
KPI Driven: Proven track record of achieving sales targets through data-driven strategies and team empowerment.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You must be a "Team Player" with the ability to lead under pressure.
Cultural Fit: A deep passion for Italian fashion, heritage, and the "Art of Living."
Languages:
Full professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of local languages (Hindi/Marathi for Mumbai; Kannada for Bangalore) is a significant advantage.
