Role Overview
The E-Commerce Executive will manage the day-to-day operations of a D2C business, ensuring smooth website management, order processing, customer support, inventory coordination, and overall e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities
Website & D2C Operations
Manage daily operations of the Shopify website and backend
Ensure products, collections, banners, and pricing are updated regularly
Coordinate order processing, returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams for smooth dispatches and deliveries
Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory updates
Customer Experience
Handle customer queries through Whats App, email, Instagram, and support channels
Resolve customer concerns efficiently and maintain high customer satisfaction
Monitor customer reviews and feedback to improve the shopping experience
Product & Catalog Management
Upload new products with accurate descriptions, pricing, images, and tags
Maintain organized product collections and categories
Ensure all listings are updated, accurate, and error-free
Sales Tracking & Reporting
Prepare daily and weekly sales reports
Track website performance and operational KPIs
Team Coordination
Collaborate with marketing, creative, and operations teams
Coordinate with external agencies or vendors for website and operational requirements
Assist in executing online campaigns and brand initiatives
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in E-Commerce or D2C operations
Experience working on Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
Strong understanding of online order management and customer handling
Good communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work
Experience in fashion, jewellery, beauty, or lifestyle brands is preferred
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Shopify apps and backend operations
Understanding of logistics and inventory management
Basic understanding of Meta and Google e-commerce ecosystem
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment
