About the Role

We are looking for a Purchase Assistant Manager at our Head Office.

Responsibilities

- MBA in material management and BE/BSc./B.Tech in Chemistry with 10-12 years experience in Managerial position in Purchase Dept. of a reputed chemical company.
- Handling of hundreds of RFQ's & Interaction with vendors.
- Purchase of grams to tons of specialty/commercial chemicals.
- Procuring Tanker Items.
- Knowledge of price negotiations/cost cutting techniques.

- Experience of registration with large companies as customers, Knowledge of Imports, Legalities /Licenses.
- Excellent communication & Negotiation skills.
- Worked in ERP/SAP environment and good knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2008 essential.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical,

B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry)

Required Skills

- Good negotiation, Multi-tasking, & communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS-Office, SAP.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the purchase of Fine & Laboratory Chemicals.
- Candidate is preferred from Mumbai only.
