Role Summary

TRP Sports is seeking a high-potential   Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager   to drive brand partnerships and athlete endorsements across cricket, football, motorsports, and Olympic sports.
This is a commercial role focused on closing brand deals for TRP's roster of top athletes and managing sponsorship sales for select sports properties and franchise partnerships.
We are looking for a young, hungry commercial professional with   3–4 years of experience   in sports/celebrity partnerships — ideally from leading marketing agencies or brands that actively invest in sports marketing.

Key Responsibilities
1. Athlete Endorsements & Brand Deals
Lead brand partnership pitches for TRP's athletes across multiple sports.
Curate propositions and key offerings aligned with each athlete's positioning.
Secure endorsements, social media campaigns, appearances, licensing, and digital partnerships.
Negotiate commercial terms, usage rights, deliverables, and timelines.

2. Franchise & Property Sponsorship Sales
Support sponsorship sales for sports franchisees, tour properties, and athlete-driven IPs.
Sell digital integrations, jersey rights, partner packages, and on-ground assets.
Work closely with internal teams to prepare commercial structures.

3. Brand & Agency Network Development
Build strong relationships with marketing agencies, brand managers, and category heads.
Map brand needs across FMCG, Auto, BFSI, Lifestyle, Tech, Beverage and other key sectors.
Position TRP Sports as a trusted partner for meaningful sports-led activations.

4. Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management
Maintain a structured pipeline with clear target categories and brand lists.
Deliver monthly and quarterly revenue goals through proactive outreach.
Identify new categories and brand segments that align with athlete profiles.

5. Activation Coordination & Delivery
Work with athlete managers, brand teams, production companies, and content teams to ensure smooth execution of shoots, campaigns, and appearances.
Ensure contractual deliverables are executed with consistency and professionalism.

Experience & Background Requirements

Experience Range
3–4 years   of experience in brand partnerships, sports marketing, talent management, or celebrity activation.

Industry Background  (Preferred):  Candidates should ideally come from:
Sports marketing agencies
Talent/celebrity management agencies (Bollywood, entertainment, media)
Marketing / brand agencies working in campaigns, influencer or activation
Brands marketing background: from brands which have invested in sports previously,

Skill Requirements
Strong pitching and storytelling ability.
Hands-on experience managing brand campaigns, events, or influencer/athlete activations.
Confident negotiator with ability to close mid-ticket deals.
Existing contacts within brand/agency circles is a major advantage.
Deep personal interest in cricket & football.
