Store Keeper

Position: Store Keeper (1-2 Years)
Responsibilities

Receive and inspect all incoming materials to ensure they match purchase orders. Process, document, and track any damages or discrepancies found in orders.
Reconcile materials with purchase orders and distribute documentation accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, shipments, and inventory.
Make intra- and inter-campus deliveries, including surplus office furniture and merchandise.
Fill supply requisitions and assist in ordering supplies when needed.
Receive, store, tag, and track surplus property.
Prepare lists of items to be sold eive, store, and maintain confidential documents and files.
Keep records of approved document and file destruction.
Ship damaged or cancelled items back to vendors as necessary.
Handle the storage and transportation of hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.
Event Support and Furniture Setup:
Deliver and set up furniture and equipment for various campus events.
Warehouse and Store Maintenance:
Maintain the warehouse, records area, and stores in a neat and orderly manner.

Skills Required

Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
Familiarity with relevant software for tracking and managing inventory.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items and operate material-handling equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic mathematical and computer skills.
Knowledge of safety and security protocols in a warehouse setting.

Experience:

1 – 2 Years

Qualification:

Diploma / ITI / Logistics or Any Degree in related field.
