Data Entry, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Clerk to support our team with accurate and timely data entry and finance and payroll-related administrative tasks. This role is key in maintaining employee records, processing garnishments and child support orders, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of company data within different departments.
Essential Functions- Employee File Management:
Create and maintain physical or digital files for each employee to securely store relevant documents. - Data Entry & Accuracy:
Enter, update, and maintain data in spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems; perform routine audits and clean‑up tasks for the finance department. - Child Support & Garnishments:
Set up new child support cases and process amended orders; perform manual calculations related to garnishments and child support; respond to inquiries from child support offices; notify state agencies when employees are terminated; issue child support and garnishment checks with required supporting documents. - Reporting & Analysis:
Pull, manipulate, and format finance and payroll-related reports in Excel. - Collaboration & Confidentiality:
Work with team members to confirm accuracy and consistency of data while handling confidential information with discretion.
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in data entry, payroll, or administrative tasks. - Skills:
Familiarity with office procedures, file management systems, and standard office equipment; strong organizational and time‑management skills; excellent communication and people skills; ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet critical deadlines. - Physical and legal requirements:
Meet all physical requirements of the position; pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations; 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required; legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Proficient in reading and understanding Spanish.
