Distribution Line Coordinator

Overview

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Distribution Line Coordinator in the Muncie, IN area for a top utility and energy company. This position offers excellent benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

The Distribution Line Coordinator plays a key role in supporting power line crews by ensuring they have the proper tools, equipment, and training to do their jobs safely and effectively. This position also handles customer concerns, inspects and tests equipment, and supports crews during outages or emergencies.

• Investigate customer complaints (such as service quality issues, voltage problems, or property damage) and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
• Assist with job preparation by coordinating with stores, crews, and supervisors to make sure the right tools and equipment are ready.
• Support training needs by coordinating with trainers and conducting distribution line training when required.
• Inspect and test tools and equipment used for power line work.
• Promote and enforce the company’s safety and health programs, ensuring crews follow safety practices.
• Assist line crews on job sites as needed, including work area protection and ground worker support.
• Support service restoration during outages and take on other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of experience in distribution line work, distribution engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong working knowledge of distribution operations and activities.
