Overview

Ball Memorial Hospital with Indiana University Health is the leading healthcare provider in Muncie, Indiana. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist to join our team. As a part of our mission to provide excellent patient care, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with access to state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct preoperative assessments, including patient medical history review and risk evaluation.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and healthcare providers to ensure effective and efficient patient care.
Key Job Details
  • Great work/life balance
  • 26 weeks per year with a 2 week on/2 week off schedule
  • 7am - 4pm schedule
  • 1:4 call
  • No OB or Plastics coverage
  • 90% CV and cardiac cases, very small general footprint
Qualifications
  • Board certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist
  • MD / DO
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CV Anesthesia experience required
