Key Responsibilities:

• Take calls from units and new admissions from emergency department or as direct admit
• Average admissions: two per day with advanced provider assistance
• Perform direct patient care with strong subspecialist support
• Services include hospital admissions, consultations, and cross coverage

Opportunity Details:

• Full-Time, Nights 7 pm- 7am; 7 on/14off schedule
• 100% inpatient, two nocturnists per shift
• IU Health Ball Memorial onsite, and admits to Jay Hospital via telemed.
• Average of 15 patients/day
• Open ICU: hospitalist manage pressors, but not intubations;
  
  Procedures not mandatory, but opportunity to provideif desired; IM residents run codes, rapids
• Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM)
• Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
• Experience, preferred
