The School of Music at Ball State University invites applications for ongoing part-time semester instructor appointments to teach coursework in an on-campus environment. Our faculty are expected to be innovative, adaptive, engaging teachers across modalities; producers of impactful creative and/or scholarly work; leaders in meaningful service activities to multiple communities. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Primary assignment will initially include teaching coursework in music education, music history, music theory/composition, or music technology; other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Music.

Completed master's degree and a documented history of professional activity in the area of assignment. Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain quality students on the collegiate level, exceptional creative/scholarly background.
