The Department of Elementary Education is seeking part‑time semester contract faculty members to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses, whose strengths and experiences are in the areas of curriculum and instruction. Positions are available Spring 2026.

Primary responsibilities for Master’s degree candidates include teaching undergraduate courses in elementary and literacy education, with the expectation of teaching courses on campus, partnering with school and community agencies, and performing other duties assigned by the department chairperson.

Primary responsibilities for Doctorate degree candidates include teaching online graduate courses in elementary and literacy education.

• Masters or Doctorate in elementary education or related area from an accredited institution
• At least three years elementary classroom teaching experience
• Knowledge of recent trends in elementary education

• University teaching experience
• Knowledge of working with diverse learners
• Experience partnering with schools and community agencies
• Doctorate in elementary education or related area from an accredited institution

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
