This position develops and implements individual and group educational plans for infant and toddler children, promoting social‑emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. The teacher provides leadership, direct classroom instruction, and collaborates with aides and volunteers.

$17.35 per hour.

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and activities that address all developmental areas.
• Guide daily classroom activities, including field trips, ensuring they are age‑appropriate and safe.
• Set up classroom equipment and materials, maintaining a healthy learning environment.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and conduct observations, assessments, and screenings.
• Compose correspondence, conduct parent conferences, and perform home visits to discuss child development.
• Support center aides and volunteers in classroom planning and skill development.
• Implement active supervision and playground safety protocols.
• Assist children with nutrition, hygiene, and diapering.
• Engage parents through classroom involvement and home activities.
• Perform duties of other staff members (Bus Monitor, Teacher Assistant) during staff shortages.
• Support meal preparation and inventory classroom supplies.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Infant and Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent early childhood development coursework.
• Associate’s degree in child development or early childhood education preferred;
  Bachelor’s degree also acceptable.
• Two years of experience working with infant‑toddler children preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required within one month of hire.
• Willingness to pursue additional credentials and continuous education.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
