This is a full‑time Evenings Pharmacist position located at Ball Memorial in Muncie, IN. It is a 7‑on/7‑off position and the hours are approximately 11 am‑9 pm.
The position will be a mix of clinical and staffing responsibilities. In the first portion of the shift, you will work as a Clinical Pharmacist participating in interdisciplinary rounding and completing pharmacy consults. The second portion of the shift will involve work in the central pharmacy.
Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive, value‑based medication‑related care, participating in interdisciplinary rounding, completing pharmacy consults, processing and dispensing medications per order or prescription, medication‑therapy monitoring, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining oversight over pharmacist extenders, maintaining the security of medications, protecting confidentiality of patient information, and providing medication information support to medical and nursing staff.
Qualifications- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (prior to 2006). - Successful completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 or PGY2 residency may be required.
- 0‑3 years of relevant experience.
- Current Indiana Pharmacist license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacist.
- Board certification or other specialized training may be required.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
- May require travel to IU Health facilities.
- May require weekend rotations.
