This position is hiring across Delaware County.

Director of Quality / Infection Control – Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time, Muncie Campus.

• Identify, investigate, report, prevent, and control healthcare‑associated infections (HAIs) among patients and personnel.
• Institute culture collection and isolation precautions as authorized by the Infection Control Committee.
• Assist with in‑service programs related to infection prevention and control.
• Attend to employee work‑related injuries, recommend actions, and communicate trends with the risk manager.
• Conduct pre‑employment and annual recurring medical screening tests for employees.
• Serve as liaison to the workers’ compensation carrier for the facility.
• Develop and implement the hospital’s Utilization Review plan.
• Travel between Muncie and Greenfield as required.

• Current Indiana Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Quality or Infection Control experience preferred.
• Minimum three years in a supervisory health‑care position or one to three years in infection control.
• Member of the Association of Practitioners of Infection Control and Epidemiology.
• Working knowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, infectious disease, aseptic techniques, and current practices.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Minimum one-year experience in utilization review.
• Demonstrated leadership and management ability with two to four years’ experience in nursing administration.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
