Firefly Children & Family Alliance is seeking anOlder Youth Services Peer Navigatorto serve east-central Indiana, with a service area covering (but not limited to) Madison, Tipton, Henry, Wayne, Grant, Delaware, Randolph, Blackford, and Jay counties. The OYS Peer Navigator is responsible for collaborating with internal and external teams to provide additional support to OYS clients. The Peer Navigator will help organize client enrichment activities, onboarding sessions and establish peer-to-peer relationships with OYS clients.
This position works closely with the OYS Administrative team.
Former foster youth experience required.

- Contact eligible clients about services.
- Direct clients to appropriate entry points for services outside of Children's Bureau.
- Communicate with Assistant Director regarding engaged clients.
- Staff with Assistant Director and Senior Director regarding engaged clients and clients that have not been able to be contacted.
- Engage potential clients and provide resources.
- Completion of spreadsheet.
- Completion of other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High School diploma or GED required OR A non-human service related Bachelor's degree and 2 years of social service experience OR Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a directly related human service field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Presentation experience and lived experience as a young adult are preferred.
