The Dignity Across America – Operations and Partnership Lead (Temp) for a Campaign is a full-time, on-site role based in Muncie, IN. This role oversees daily campaign operations, including scheduling mobile outreach events, coordinating Care Kit distribution, and ensuring smooth logistics for grooming and hygiene services. The Lead will build and manage partnerships with local organizations, service providers, and community leaders to expand campaign reach and impact.
Responsibilities include tracking program goals, maintaining accurate records, and preparing brief progress updates for internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves supervising volunteers, supporting community engagement activities, and helping refine processes that improve the dignity-centered experience for participants.
- Master campaign calendar, rolling 90-day state readiness, route windows, lodging, and local transportation.
- State activation checklist from T-60 through T+90, including host/barber/venue readiness and closeout.
- Coordination of barber/host documentation with the Partner & Activation Coordinator.
- Founder approval queue: label only true decisions as APPROVE, DECIDE, SIGN, or BOARD/PROFESSIONAL REVIEW.
- Routine operational incident coordination and safe continuity when plans change.
- Daily documentation closeout so receipts, confirmations, state records, and exceptions do not pile up.
- Operational and project coordination skills, including event scheduling, logistics management, and time management.
- Partnership-building and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present campaign goals and outcomes.
- Experience working in nonprofit, social services, or community outreach settings is highly beneficial.
- Ability to lead and support volunteers, foster an inclusive environment, and model respect and dignity for all participants.
- Comfort with basic data tracking and reporting using standard office or collaboration tools.
- High level of reliability, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced, in-person outreach environments.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, social work, public health, or a related field is preferred.
