Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Palliative Care (IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital)

! We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team in Palliative Care
. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, critical thinking skills, and be a proactive team-player. Our team focuses on care that meets patients and family where they are in their journey. We meet daily to debrief about patients and seek guidance from each other as needed.
- Full-time, Day Shift
- 8:00 am–4:30 pm (flexible as needed with on-call rotation)
- Rotating monthly after‑hours call
- Practice with 2 Physicians
- 100% inpatient
- Direct patient assessments including H&Ps, discharge summaries, per‑visit documentation, medication/symptom management, interdisciplinary team participation
- Lead goals of care conversations with patients and families
- No procedural requirements
- Master’s Degree required
- ACNP, FNP, PA, PMHNP, or WHNP certification required
- Ideal candidate will have Palliative/Hospice, ICU, Oncology, or Critical Care experience as an RN or APP
