Position Overview

The ADON supports the Director of Nursing (DON) by planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing the Nursing Service Department’s daily functions. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards to maintain high‑quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the DON to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
• Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to ensure continuity of residents’ total care regimen.
• Implement the clinical staffing model and perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, audits, evaluations, charting, etc.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
• Prepare for facility surveys, inspections, and accreditation programs conducted by authorized regulatory agencies and/or the company.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced degree in Nursing.
• 0–1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid state RN license and CPR certification required.
