Requirements:

2+ yrs. of exp.

RN Active License.

ACLS, BLS Required.

Description:

** LICENSE AND CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT*
* First Time Travelers:
Yes
Shift Requirements: 13-16 week assignments available.
FLOATING REQUIRED TO PROGRESSIVE CARE

Weekend Coverage:
Every third weekend
Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS required

Skillset Requirements:
-Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias
-Arterial line management
-Starting IVs
-Continuous IV sedation
-Titrate Cardiac drips
-Care of Ventilated Patient
-Ventilator Management

Staffing Ratios: 1:2

Unit Information: 18 bed open critical care unit Staffed 2 patients to 1 RN unless high acuity then 1:1, No ECMO, No Transplant No Neuro Trauma/Neurosurg. CV/Open Heart surgery staffed by Ball/own nurses for first 36 hours. Resp Failure, Sepsis, CHF, Covid numbers declining, STEMI, Surgical. IABP and CVVHD ran on unit but not necessary for travel contract.
