• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently; understand the Point of Sale system, and handle various tenders according to company policy.
• Rotate all merchandise according to code dating policies and check product quality for freshness.
• Promote trust and respect among team members.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries and suggestions.
• Greet, engage, and assist customers; inform them of grocery specials.
• Order, label, stock, and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies to management.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and safety procedures; comply with food safety regulations.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers; maintain temperature logs.
• Practice safety and preventive maintenance; report unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Follow all relevant laws and company guidelines.
• Physical demands include standing, lifting, pushing/pulling, bending, and other manual tasks.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment; manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity; follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

• Basic math knowledge.
• Complete cashier training program.
• Memorize produce and sale items.
• Effective communication and reading skills.
• Must be 18 years old.

• Customer service experience.
• Retail experience.
