Sales Counselor

Job Overview

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to sell pre‑need and at‑need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property, and merchandise. The role involves assisting families with funeral selections, attending services, and generating leads through walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting.

• Advise families on funeral options and selections.
• Attend funeral services to provide support.
• Generate leads via walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting.
• Maintain and manage customer information in a CRM system.
• Meet sales targets and achieve commission.
• Receive training pay of $18.00 per hour for the first 6 weeks.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred: Business, Marketing, or Sales coursework).
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook).
• Experience with a CRM (lead management system).
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Estimated first‑year earnings range (including hourly wage and commission): $40,000 – $55,000.
