Schedule & Location

  • Monday‑Friday, 11:00 am–9:00 pm (Second Shift)
  • No weekends
  • On‑site at our Muncie, IN hauling plant repair shop
Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of diesel and CNG vehicles
  • Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts
  • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
  • Respond to emergency breakdown calls
  • Conduct safety checks to ensure employee and community safety
  • Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times
  • Assist senior mechanics with project work
  • Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area compliant with corporate and OSHA standards
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of relevant mechanic experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Minimum age 18
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to perform physical requirements (lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.) with or without accommodations
  • Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam

Physical Demands
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing
