Golden Sky Management has been in business for 3+ years and is Muncie's leading Property Management firm. We are a small, local company looking to for the right people to help us expand!

The Role We are looking for a dependable handyman to assist with residential repairs and maintenance for multiple properties in Muncie. From carpentry to drywall to painting to flooring, you would be responsible for completing projects in a timely manner while maintaining excellent rapport with our customers! When things are slower out in the field, you will also be responsible for assisting on the renovation team to modernize rental units and flip houses.

What You'll Do Proactively identify potential issues that occurred as a result mechanical failure, tenant neglect, faulty previous repairs and develop a repair plan.

Cut out, replace, and patch drywall as needed.

Perform carpentry work involving the repair of trim, staircases, outdoor fencing, and other household repairs.

Oversee and perform other functions including painting, flooring installation, tile, carpet, concrete, light landscaping, etc.

Prioritize and document repairs per policy and standard operating procedures.

Travel to customers within our service area to perform repairs (majority Muncie with rare service calls to other areas of Central Indiana).Effectively communicate with technicians and customers both in person, written, and via electronic channels.

What You'll Need5+ years of carpentry and general handyman experience (required).Valid Drivers' License and ability to operate a vehicle.

Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Your own complete set of basic tools (examples include Drill/Driver, Impact Driver, Reciprocating Saw, Circular Saw, Standard Nail-Gun, Multi-Tool, Jig Saw, Sander, Grinder, Work Lights, Tool Batteries & Chargers).
* Ability to diagnose and solve various residential repairs and needs.

Ability to lead and oversee certain projects as needed.
