We are looking for a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local retail store. In this role you will support and oversee the repair of Walmart facilities' refrigeration and HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills. You will use hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs while maintaining a safe working environment. $23.00/hr – $45.00/hr

• Maintain and repair facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment using commercial skills and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety and equipment training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations following Walmart’s safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights, including ladder use.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration/hvac maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• Minimum 18 years of age with High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2–4 years of mechanical maintenance experience.

Individual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, level of the job offer, and other factors. Eligible for bonus incentive and premium payments of up to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
