3rd Shift 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday
What you’ll do and what you’ll bring:Position Function: Under supervision, perform duties required in the operation and maintenance of natural gas fired boilers, auxiliary equipment, steam and condensate return distribution system, complying withEPA, OSHA, and all appropriate operating regulations and codes.
Requires the physical ability to stoop, crouch, crawl, kneel, grasp, finger, lift, reach, balance, climb, talk, hear, work with arms and hands extended, and exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds of force frequently, and 20 pounds of force constantly. Task requires the visual ability to distinguish color and perceive depth. Task requires the ability to operate hand and power tools, ladders, scaffolds, and Heating Plant instrumentation and testing equipment.
Employee is exposed to inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme heat and cold, noise, dust, heights, confined spaces, and may be required to wear filter mask, respirator, and various protective clothing and/or equipment. Task requires the mental ability to receive, comprehend, follow, and provide oral instructions and information and to read, comprehend, follow, and provide written instructions and information.
