Senior Accountant

Location: Mundelein, Illinois (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to support consolidated financial reporting, U.S. GAAP compliance, and global accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multi‑entity environment, enjoys technical accounting, and is comfortable driving month‑end and year‑end close processes.

• Lead monthly consolidated close, including preparing consolidating and eliminating entries.
• Review global accounting submissions for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts; resolve unusual variances.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership.
• Support year‑end close, consolidated financial statements, and footnote preparation.
• Assist with complex accounting matters (new GAAP standards, acquisitions/divestitures, etc.).
• Coordinate interim and year‑end audit requests.
• Partner with internal teams on accounting issues and process improvements.
• Contribute to global statutory filings and collaborate with legal on requirements.
• Research U.S. GAAP and help update accounting policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Multi‑company or multinational experience a plus.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
