General Ledger Manager

We are a growing industrial distribution group headquartered in Mundelein, IL, made up of multiple operating companies that serve customers across the country. Our finance team is building a stronger, more standardized close process across the organization, and we're looking for a hands on accounting leader to take ownership of balance sheet integrity across all of our entities.

• Own and shape the reconciliation program for the entire organization
• Work directly with the Controller, Assistant Corporate Controller, and finance leadership
• Lead and develop your own team of accounting professionals

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong understanding of the full accounting cycle, from AP, AR, and inventory through the GL, month end close, and financial statements
• Own the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process across multiple entities, including AR, AP, inventory, fixed assets, intercompany, and cash
• Prior people management experience, with a hands on leadership style and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Experience with Trintech Adra, Black Line, or similar reconciliation software, plus advanced Excel skills;
  Infor M3 or other ERP experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and manufacturing or distribution experience preferred. This is an onsite role in Mundelein, IL
