Associate Opportunity - HVAC Engineering

About the Role:

An established engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced HVAC Associate to join its New York team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional to lead complex engineering projects, develop client relationships, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HVAC projects from initial design through to completion.
• Manage project teams, resources, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Act as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Review technical designs, calculations, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development.
• Support business development and client growth initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8-14 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and engineering design calculations.
• Proven project management and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, design standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
