Summary

The Aquatics Concessions Attendant is responsible for a wide variety of duties including, but not limited to, providing exceptional customer service, greeting and preparing food orders for members and patrons, and handling food sales. This position requires varying hours including weekends and holidays. Works closely with the Shift Manager and the Aquatics Manager.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age. Must be able to work in a public and professional manner. The individual must show maturity. The individual must demonstrate the ability to accurately use addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, and decimals. The individual must show proficiency with the District computer system. CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification is required and if not certified, must become certified.

Must pass Food Handler Certification upon hire.

Essential Functions
  • Works closely with Supervisor and Deck Managers.
  • Perform duties of taking and fulfilling customer orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of food orders and accept payments.
  • Report all unsafe conditions to Supervisor and, or Deck Manager.
  • Complete all assigned cleaning duties and keep the cash area in a tidy and organized manner.
  • Gan knowledge of the established Emergency Action Plan.
  • Report on time for all scheduled shifts.
  • Record inventory deductions accurately.
  • Practice and follow all policies and procedures as stated in the staff manual and directed by Supervisor and Deck Manager.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.
