Chief Financial Officer

A Non-Financial Services Firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a rolling three-month cash flow forecast and financial outlook.
• Oversee the monthly financial close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable and collections, strengthening processes to improve cash flow.
• Lead accounting and finance staff, including hiring, training, and developing the team.
• Establish and improve financial controls, reporting processes, and operating procedures.
• Partner with ownership and leadership on financial planning, budgeting, and business decisions.
• Deliver clear financial reports and analysis to help ownership assess performance and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash management, and operational efficiency.
• Strengthen working capital management and anticipate funding needs to reduce unexpected cash shortfalls.
• Manage financial risk and debt financing needs while supporting long-term business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 12–20 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including CFO-level leadership.
• Proven ability to build a finance department, establish processes and controls, and hire and develop an accounting team.
• Experience owning the full cash cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and daily cash management.
• Ability to develop and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast and anticipate funding needs.
• Demonstrated success improving collections and working capital to reduce unexpected cash shortfalls.
• Experience managing financial risk and debt financing while supporting long-term growth.
• Willingness to remain hands-on with daily accounting and finance responsibilities.
• CPA preferred.
