A high-growth, venture-backed company in mineral processing is looking for a VP of Finance to lead and scale its finance function. Reporting to the President, this role oversees FP&A, accounting operations, cash management, internal controls, and financial systems development. A strong fit for a senior finance leader with capital-intensive industry experience who wants to build scalable infrastructure while partnering closely with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, reporting, and cash management
• Serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing financial insights and disciplined forecasting
• Build scalable financial processes to support continued growth
• Lead FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling
• Manage accounting operations including month-end close, audit readiness, treasury, and tax coordination
• Strengthen governance, compliance, and internal controls
• Lead ERP and financial systems improvements, including Net Suite optimization
• Support board and investor reporting, with potential involvement in IPO readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, preferably in a high-growth environment
• Prior experience as a VP Finance, Controller, or senior finance leader preferred
• Strong background in mining, industrial, manufacturing, or other capital-intensive industries preferred
• Experience in multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional financial environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Net Suite implementation or optimization experience preferred
• Experience supporting investor reporting or related governance processes strongly preferred
