Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of Travere as we continue to grow in support of our commitment to identify, develop, and deliver life-changing therapies to people living with rare disease. During Travere Therapeutics' 11-week Early Career Talent Internship Program, beginning June 7, 2027, the intern will work in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite and 3 days virtually per week) and gain mentorship and cross-functional exposure while contributing to team objectives.
The internship program will conclude with an opportunity to deliver a final presentation summarizing project work, key findings, contributions, and learning from the internship to senior leadership.
The Statistical Programming Intern will build a strong foundation in statistical programming while supporting a project focused on data conversion and mapping of clinical datasets to CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards, as well as perform additional duties related to Travere's clinical-stage drug programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support statistical programming activities for defined projects associated with clinical-stage drug programs.
- Learn and apply foundational programming practices used to organize, review, analyze, and present clinical or development data.
- Assist with development, validation, and quality review of programming outputs under team guidance.
- Support data review and documentation activities while learning applicable programming standards and team processes.
- Collaborate with Statistical Programming colleagues and cross-functional partners to understand how programming supports clinical development and decision-making.
- Document project work, methods, and key learnings in a clear and reproducible manner.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing project contributions, technical learning, and internship experience.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in statistics, biostatistics, data science, computer science, mathematics, life sciences, or a related field, with at least one semester to complete prior to graduation.
- Relevant coursework in programming, statistics, data management, or quantitative methods is preferred.
Additional Skills/Experience:
