Job Description:

The Senior Director, Technical Solutions Group (TSG), is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, and financial results of a technical services portfolio generating approximately $100 million in annual revenue. Reporting to the COO, the Senior Director provides overall direction for the organization's technical delivery, customer engagement, business growth, operational excellence, and workforce development initiatives.

As the senior leader of TSG, the Senior Director is accountable for profit and loss (P&L) performance, execution of strategic objectives, customer satisfaction, talent development, and the successful delivery of technical solutions across the portfolio. The role requires balancing near-term execution with long-term growth while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

Business and Financial Leadership

• Own full P&L responsibility for a portfolio generating approximately $100 million in annual revenue.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, cash flow, and growth objectives, to include establishing annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve financial targets.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to position the organization for sustained growth.
• Lead strategic initiatives and drive execution across the portfolio.
• Identify opportunities for expansion into adjacent markets, technologies, and customer segments.

Customer and Business Growth

• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Support business development efforts, capture activities, and proposal strategies.
• Partner with growth and operations teams to increase revenue, expand market share, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
• Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic programs and critical customer engagements.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure successful delivery of technical solutions, programs, and services across the portfolio.
• Establish performance standards and operating rhythms that drive accountability and execution.
• Lead organizational transformation, process improvement, and efficiency initiatives.
• Manage organizational risk and ensure compliance with corporate policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Talent and Organizational Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop managers and technical leaders across the organization.
• Build and sustain a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer success.
• Drive succession planning, workforce development, and employee engagement initiatives.
