Position: Manufacturing Management Program (MMP) – Environmental, Health, & Safety

Launch your environmental, health and safety career by solving real business challenges, developing as a leader, and gaining experience across a Mac Lean-Fogg manufacturing facility and a Corporate or Shared Services team.

The Manufacturing Management Program (MMP) is Mac Lean-Fogg's two-year rotational development program for early-career environmental, health and safety professionals who want more than a traditional entry-level role.

Over two one-year rotations, you will work alongside experienced professionals, manufacturing teams, and leaders, gaining hands-on experience in risk recognition, employee engagement, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement. At the same time, you will build the leadership, communication, and business skills needed to grow your career at Mac Lean-Fogg.

Program at a Glance
  • Salary: $75,000
  • Program length: Two years with two one-year rotations
  • Start date: July 2027
  • Locations: One U.S. manufacturing facility and one Corporate or Shared Services team
  • Relocation: Fully covered for both rotations
  • First rotation location confirmed: Late April 2027
  • Employment: Full-time

Important: MMP participants must be willing to relocate anywhere in the United States for both rotations. Your first location will not be confirmed until late April 2027.

What You Will Do

Your rotations are designed to give you meaningful environmental, health and safety responsibility from the start. You will:

  • Support risk assessments, inspections, incident learning, environmental activities, and corrective-action follow-through
  • Analyze EHS observations and data to identify patterns and practical improvement opportunities
  • Partner with employees, supervisors, and leaders to communicate expectations and strengthen safe work practices
  • Lead a first-year project scoped with your supervisor and present your results to senior leaders
  • Take on a larger second-year project proposed by the host team and matched to your background, development, and goals
  • Present your work and recommendations to leaders throughout the program
  • Complete a capstone presentation at the end of your second year

Your projects may involve risk recognition, employee engagement, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement

More Than a Rotational EHS Job

MMP combines hands‑on environmental, health and safety experience with structured leadership development.

Throughout the program, you will:

  • Complete leadership development alongside your day‑to‑day environmental, health and safety work
  • Build a mentoring relationship with an experienced employee at another Mac Lean‑Fogg location
  • Connect with an MMP participant who is at least one year ahead of you
  • Build relationships across manufacturing facilities, Corporate or Shared Services teams, and functions
  • Gain exposure to how environmental, health and safety decisions affect employees, operations, customers, cost, and the broader business
  • Develop experience communicating recommendations to both manufacturing teams and senior leaders

By the end of the program, you will have spent two years solving real business problems while building a broader understanding of manufacturing, leadership, and Mac Lean‑Fogg.

What Will Help You Succeed

MMP is designed for environmental, health and safety professionals who are curious, adaptable, and ready to take ownership.

Successful participants can:

  • Recognize hazards and environmental concerns and know when to elevate them
  • Use observations, data, and requirements to evaluate a situation
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully about safety and environmental expectations
  • Adapt quickly when entering a new team, process, or business environment
