Apartment Maintenance Technician

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for completing work orders and assisting with the day-to-day upkeep of our apartment community. You’ll work directly with residents to resolve maintenance requests submitted through App Folio, ensuring repairs are handled efficiently and professionally.

• Handle a wide range of maintenance tasks to keep the community running smoothly, including responding to and completing resident work orders through App Folio
• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry as needed
• Take care of routine upkeep such as lighting, locks, painting, and general property repairs
• Assist with unit turns between residents by handling make-ready repairs and cleaning
• Troubleshoot and address emergency maintenance issues (on-call rotation possible)
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents and coworkers

• Entry level position in maintenance
• Ability to perform repairs across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
• Experience with using maintenance software such as App Folio is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
